Machine connectivity
Connect factory machines without major integration projects
Connect your machines with the Good Solutions IoT box
The Good Solutions IoT box makes it easy to connect both new and old machines without major integration projects. By reading signals via vibration, power consumption, or 24 V digital signals, even equipment without built-in PLC connections can be connected. This provides a faster path to machine data with less technical complexity.
The IoT box reduces the need for support from both IT and electricians during startup. The hardware can be connected to a standard 230 V socket, configured via a smartphone, and communicate directly over the mobile network without requiring a local network. This simplifies installation and makes it easier to connect more machines over time.
The IoT box also enables measurement beyond machine status. With support for current clamps, energy consumption can be monitored, while local buffering protects data during temporary connection interruptions. This provides robust, flexible data collection that remains stable even when conditions change.

Connect your machines with OPC UA and MQTT
Many factories already have machine data available via industry standards such as OPC UA or MQTT. Good Solutions can connect directly to these standards, eliminating the need for custom integrations for each machine.
Good Solutions continuously collects real-time data and transforms it into meaningful KPIs, live dashboards and production insights that help operators and managers improve performance daily.
Because the data comes directly from the machines, reporting is automatic, accurate and available in real time.
When machine signals are available via OPC UA or MQTT, Good Solutions automatically classifies production stops and disruptions.
OT-secure by design
Good Solutions is designed to integrate with industrial automation environments and to adhere to modern OT security principles.
A local Edge Service communicates with the factory network, while production data is securely transmitted to the Good Solutions cloud. The cloud never requires direct access to PLCs or control systems, helping to maintain a clear separation between operational technology (OT) and IT.
The architecture is consistent with modern industrial communication methods and integrates naturally into ISA-95-based automation architectures.
