Maria Nila is a fast-growing global beauty brand with its headquarters and manufacturing based in Sweden. With a clear ambition to offer sustainable, professional hair care, the company has built a strong international reputation for high-quality, 100% vegan products.
Maria Nila combines innovation with values-driven entrepreneurship, with sustainability and animal welfare at the centre. In our factory in Helsingborg, products are manufactured that reach more than 45 markets – with full control over quality, capacity, and delivery precision.
The problem
Expensive shifts and underused capacity
When demand increased, Maria Nila could not produce enough during regular working hours. Weekend, evening, and night shifts filled the volume but drove up both costs and resource consumption.
At the same time, there was untapped potential in production. Maria Nila needed to understand where capacity was being lost, which losses carried the most weight, and which improvements would have the greatest effect.

The solution
Good Solutions' platform in combination with culture
Maria Nila began using Good Solutions' platform to monitor production, identify losses, and assess how capacity was utilised. The work became more fact-based, covering productivity, downtime, and improvements. Maria Nila quickly saw more clearly which problems weighed heaviest and where to prioritise efforts.

Instead of paying for additional overtime hours, Maria Nila was able to free up capacity, improve cost control, and create a stable foundation to meet increased demand.
