Mixum, part of Greenfood Group, has grown from a family business into a modern food producer with over 100 employees. From its state-of-the-art facility in Motala, Mixum supplies pasta mixes, egg products, salads, vegan stews, and more across the Nordics, France, and Germany.

The facility produces 3 000 tons of cooked pasta annually – equivalent to about 300 fully loaded trucks – with a capacity of 3 000 kg of cooked pasta per hour and 170 000 cooked, peeled eggs per day. The facility is strategically located between Stockholm and Gothenburg, near the E4 highway and has an optimal position for efficient distribution.

With the help of Good Solutions' platform, Mixum increased net production, reduced waste, and strengthened its work on continuous improvement, while giving employees access to smart digital tools.

The problem

Find the root cause of inefficiency

Before we had the Good Solutions platform, Mixum's team struggled with productivity losses caused by manual processes and documentation.

”We knew that we could improve a lot, but lacked data to see where we were losing time and efficiency”, says Fredrik. ”It became clear that we needed a solution that gave us facts, and not keep working based on assumptions.”

Changeovers and quality checks were done on paper, which led to errors, poor traceability and inconsistent standards.
